Nel corso del Playstation Meeting tenutosi a New York, in cui è stata annunciata ufficialmente la Playstation 4, sono state anche svelate le caratteristiche tecniche della nuova console che segna anche l’abbandono dell’architettura di Playstation 3 per avvicinarsi a quella più tradizionale dei PC.
Ancora una volta l’unità ottica sarà il Lettore Blu-Ray, smentito quindi il rumors che voleva la console solamente con l’Hard Disk interno ed i giochi in formato digitale o a scheda fisica.
